Hello -

I'm Sharon, owner of the blog Ex Libris. I love the idea of reading all the Nobel laureates in literature and am very excited about having a structured way in which to accomplish this. (I'm also glad it is undated, as it will take me a very long time to complete it!) Following are the Nobel laureates I've read to date:
  • 2003 - J. M. Coetzee
    • Elizabeth Costello
  • 1972 - Heinrich Boll
    • Billiards at Half-past Nine
  • 1949 - William Faulkner
    • As I Lay Dying
  • 1948 - T. S. Eliot
    • Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats
In 2008, I am planning to read the following Nobel laureates:
  • 1993 - Toni Morrison
    • Beloved
  • 1991 - Nadine Gordimer
    • A Sport of Nature
  • 1976 - Saul Bellow
    • The Adventures of Augie March
  • 1962 - John Steinbeck
    • East of Eden
  • 1958 - Boris Pasternak
    • Dr. Zhivago
  • 1955 - Halld'or Laxness
    • Independent People
  • 1954 - Ernest Hemingway
    • The Sun Also Rises
I'm looking forward to reading and sharing my thoughts with you on these authors and their works.
